Within 2 business days I will reply with 3 concrete observations.
I do not need access to the account. A PDF invoice from the console or a Cost Explorer export for the last 3 months is enough.
Only I read the file, and I do not paste it into AI tools. I delete it when you ask, and after 12 months at the latest.
Cloud exit
From AWS, Azure or GCP to Hetzner or OVH. The plan first, then the migration at the price set in the plan. How it works

- from EUR 1,150
A “from” price appears with the exit plan, the migration and one-off work, because their scope depends on your infrastructure. It grows with the number of servers, environments and services. I give you the exact price in writing before we sign, and it does not change during the work.
Contracts, invoices, billing
Do the prices include VAT?
No. I work with businesses only, so all prices are net, in euro. A business in Poland pays 23% VAT on top. A business in another EU country with an active VAT number in the VIES system gets an invoice without Polish VAT, marked “reverse charge”, and accounts for VAT in its own country. A business outside the EU gets an invoice without Polish VAT, because the service is taxed in the client’s country. The invoice is in EUR, in the amount fixed in the offer, paid by SEPA transfer.
Link to this question: Do the prices include VAT?Which currency do I pay in?
Euro. The price on this page is the net amount on the invoice, fixed in the offer and paid by SEPA transfer. Bill sizes for the audit packages are in US dollars, because that is the currency AWS bills in.
Link to this question: Which currency do I pay in?What does the audit price depend on?
On the package, and the package on the size of the bill and the number of accounts. Audits S and M have a fixed price for the scope described with the package. Audit L, for bills over USD 8,000 or more than three accounts, is priced after a short call. I give you the price in writing before we sign, and it does not change during the work.
Link to this question: What does the audit price depend on?How long is the maintenance contract?
Monthly, with one month’s notice. There is no annual lock-in. The first month is onboarding: inventory, monitoring and backups.
Link to this question: How long is the maintenance contract?What if the plan runs out of hours?
Extra hours are billed at the rate listed with the plan: EUR 60/h on Server, EUR 55/h on Business and Growth. Unused hours roll over to the next month.
Link to this question: What if the plan runs out of hours?Who pays for the servers and the cloud?
You do, directly to the provider. The accounts are yours, and I work with the access you give me. That way nothing depends on me alone.
Link to this question: Who pays for the servers and the cloud?Is the exit plan wasted if I do not order the migration?
No: you keep the plan and can carry it out yourself. The plan price is deducted from the migration price if you order the migration within 90 days of receiving the plan. The migration price in the plan is valid for those 90 days for the scope it describes.
Link to this question: Is the exit plan wasted if I do not order the migration?How do you bill hourly work?
The first hour in full, then in 15-minute steps. Every month you get a timesheet with a description of the work.

Money-back guarantee
If the yearly savings identified in the report add up to less than the audit fee, I refund everything you paid. For businesses with an AWS bill from USD 800 net a month. Full terms below; the version attached to the contract applies.
Guarantee terms (version 1.1 of 5 October 2026)
Version 1.1 of 5 October 2026. The contract is governed by the version in force on the day it is signed, attached to the contract.
1. What I promise
1.1. If the total yearly savings identified in the audit report, calculated under sections 4 and 5, are lower than the net audit fee, I refund the full amount you paid for the audit, including any VAT charged.
1.2. What counts is what the report identifies, not what you implement. You do not have to implement anything.
1.3. You keep the report after a refund and may use it for your business.
2. Who it is for
2.1. The audit and the guarantee are for businesses only. I do not contract with consumers.
2.2. If you are a sole trader and, under Polish law, the contract has no professional character for you (art. 385⁵ of the Polish Civil Code, art. 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act), you also have the rights those provisions give consumers, in particular protection against unfair terms and the right to withdraw from a distance contract. These terms do not limit those rights.
3. Threshold: AWS bill from USD 800 a month
3.1. The guarantee applies if the average monthly cost of the AWS accounts in scope, calculated under sections 4.2 and 4.5 over the base period (4.1), is at least USD 800 net.
3.2. I check the threshold before we sign, from a Cost Explorer export or a screenshot you send me, and we record the result in the contract. If the threshold is not met, I tell you before signing and the contract states that the guarantee does not apply. I will not rely on the threshold later to refuse a refund.
4. How I calculate savings
4.1. Base period. The 3 full calendar months before the month in which we sign the contract. I use the average monthly cost of each service and resource over that period.
4.2. Base cost. The cost you actually bear: after the discounts in your AWS agreement (for example EDP or PPA) and taking into account the Savings Plans and Reserved Instances you already hold (in Cost Explorer: net amortized cost, or amortized cost if you have no negotiated discounts). I do not deduct promotional credits or refunds, and I exclude taxes. Credits are excluded because they expire and the savings should hold after they do.
4.3. Prices after a change. The public AWS price for your region on the report date, less any discounts in your AWS agreement that will apply to that service.
4.4. Monthly and yearly amounts. For each recommendation I state the monthly amount and how it was calculated: the resources concerned and the cost before and after the change. Yearly savings = monthly amount × 12, rounded to whole units of the currency.
4.5. Exchange rate. Savings are calculated in the currency of your AWS bill. To compare them with the fee in euro, I convert both at the National Bank of Poland (NBP) average rate, table A, of the last business day before the report date. The threshold (3.1) is in US dollars; a bill in another currency is converted at the NBP average rate of the last business day before the check (3.2).
4.6. No double counting. Changes that affect each other are calculated in order, each from the state after the previous ones:
- removing unused resources;
- changing size, type and processor architecture;
- configuration, storage class and data lifecycle changes;
- new Savings Plans and Reserved Instances last.
If two recommendations exclude each other (only one can be implemented), only the one with the lower amount counts towards the total.
4.7. Savings Plans and Reserved Instances. The saving is the on-demand cost of the covered usage minus the cost of the commitment, both over 12 months. I only count a commitment for usage no higher than the steady minimum in the base period, after the changes in 4.6 steps 1–3. If I recommend a commitment longer than one year or with an upfront payment, for the guarantee I count it as if it were a one-year, no-upfront commitment. Commitments you already hold do not count as new savings. If you tell me before the audit that you are considering leaving AWS within 12 months, I do not recommend or count new commitments.
5. What does not count
The total in 1.1 does not include:
a) estimates from moving services to another provider (for example Hetzner or OVH), which the report shows separately;
b) changes that reduce production availability or resilience, backup coverage or security below the current level, unless you told me before the audit that this is acceptable;
c) removing or shrinking resources that you told me before the audit are needed;
d) changes you are already implementing or have planned and told me about before the audit started;
e) one-off savings that do not reduce the monthly cost;
f) promotional credits, AWS refunds, taxes and third-party software charges from AWS Marketplace;
g) price changes that AWS makes independently of your actions;
h) accounts and services outside the audit scope in the contract.
6. Your part, and what happens if it does not work out
6.1. Within 5 business days of signing, you give me read-only access to the accounts in scope (an IAM role, or Cost Explorer and Cost and Usage Report exports).
6.2. If access comes later, the report deadline moves by the length of the delay. The guarantee still applies.
6.3. If I do not receive access within 30 days of signing, either of us may withdraw from the contract by e-mail within the following 14 days. I then refund the fee paid.
6.4. The account scope changes only by e-mail agreement of both parties, together with the price. The guarantee then applies to the new scope and price.
7. If you disagree with the calculation
7.1. Within 30 days of receiving the report you may challenge specific items by e-mail and say why.
7.2. Within 7 business days I recalculate them under sections 4 and 5 and reply with the calculation. Items that cannot be calculated with this method do not count towards the total.
7.3. If the recalculated total is lower than the net audit fee, I refund you under section 8.
8. How to claim and when I pay
8.1. Send an e-mail to the address we correspond with (jacob@codelevel.pl) within 30 days of receiving the report.
8.2. I refund by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, in the invoice currency, within 14 days of your claim, or within 14 days of sending you the recalculation under section 7.
8.3. I issue a corrective invoice for the refund. Our e-mail exchange (your claim and my confirmation) records the agreed refund terms.
9. One refund per 12 months
The guarantee covers the first audit of the same AWS accounts in any 12-month period. If you order another audit of the same accounts within 12 months of the report, the guarantee does not cover it. I will say so before you sign for the second audit.
10. Contract and law
10.1. These terms form part of the audit contract. If the contract says otherwise, the contract prevails, but it will not make these terms less favourable without an express clause that I discuss with you before signing.
10.2. The contract is governed by Polish law.
Exit plan credit
The plan price is deducted from the migration price if you order the migration within 90 days of receiving the plan. The migration price in the plan is valid for those 90 days for the scope it describes.
Terms of the exit plan credit
- If you order the migration from me within 90 days of the day I deliver the exit plan, I deduct the net price of the plan from the net price of the migration. Ordering means signing the migration contract or accepting the migration price stated in the plan by e-mail.
- The migration price in the plan is my offer, valid for those 90 days, for the scope described in the plan. It changes only if the scope changes: services, servers or data not covered by the plan, or growth beyond what the plan describes. In that case I give you the new price and the reason before you order.
- Hetzner, OVH and other provider prices in the plan are estimates as of the plan date. You pay those providers directly, so their price changes do not affect the migration price.
- If you order the migration of part of the scope, I deduct the full plan price, but no more than the price of that part.
- The credit is for the company the plan was prepared for and applies to one migration. It appears as a price reduction on the migration invoice.
- If you do not order the migration, you keep the plan and may carry it out yourself or with someone else.
Prices are net, in euro. Invoices in EUR, in the amount fixed in the offer, by SEPA transfer; reverse charge for VAT-registered EU businesses. EU VAT ID: PL7651699157.
For businesses only. I do not contract with consumers.
